Dr. Ezhilarasan Devaraj Associate Professor Department of Pharmacology

Dr. D. Ezhilarasan is currently working as Associate Professor in this Department. He has completed M.Sc. with Gold Medal and earned his Ph.D. from University of Madras, Chennai, India and Université Catholque de Louvain, Brussels, Belgium through Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Research Fellowship. He has obtained various Research Fellowships during his Ph.D. such as DST-INSPIRE, University Research fellowship from University of Madras and other prestigious awards. His research focuses are cancer biology, hepatology and molecular biology.


Dr. M. Karthick Ganesh Assistant Professor Department of Anatomy

Dr. M.Karthik Ganesh, completed his Master and Doctoral degree in Human Anatomy (Faculty Of Medicine) from Dr. ALM. PGIBMS, University of Madras, Chennai. He is a hard core Researcher and an excellent teacher. He has published several papers in reputed International Journals with high Impact Factors. He is also guiding students of BDS, MDS, M.Sc., and Ph.D., in research. Currently, he is guiding 4 part-time Ph.D., students and co-guiding many Ph.D students. His research areas of interest are Andrology, Ageing, Geriatrics, Neuroscience, Stress and anthropometry. His current research projects are on "in vivo animal experimentation in Dentistry". He has standardized and created several animal models for dental research.


Dr. R. Parameswari Assistant Professor Department of Pharmacology

Dr. Parameswari, has completed her Masters from University of Madras and her Doctorate from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. She joined as a research fellow in Sri Ramachandra University and after 13 years spell at SRU, worked in various central government funded projects currently she has joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, SDC. She has an overall research experience of 13 years. She has been awarded the International Conference fellowship from the Alzheimer’s Association, USA for her Ph.D work and has received meritorious research publication awards. She has filed 2 IPR patents to her credit. Her current research focus is to establish in vitro co-culture models on diabetic and neuronal cell lines.


Dr. A. Lakshminarayanan Assistant Professor Department of Pharmacology

Mr. Lakshminarayanan, Assistant professor of this department, completed his Post Graduation from Dr. A.L.M. Post Graduate Institute of Basic Medical Sciences (PG-IBMS), University of Madras, Chennai and he is also pursuing Ph.D. in Pharmacology and also has qualified TN-SET in 2012. He is an academician and now simultaneously focussing on research activities


Dr. Saravanan Sekaran Assistant Professor Department of Pharmacology

Dr. Saravanan Sekaran is an Assistant Professor and specialized in the field of Biomaterials, stem cells and Bone Tissue Engineering. His current research focus is on delineating the molecular mechanism(s) behind the role of various plant based pharmacological agents, magnetism, and geometry on osteoblast differentiation of stem cells. He has authored 50 publications in international journals, contributed two training manuals and two book chapters. He is also the recipient of Arnold Naimark Young Investigator Award- SBRC, and Young Investigator Award, Canada. He has various other national awards and has filed three patents to IPR, India.
